This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Provide guidance, design, and oversee deployment orchestration solutions for intricate Salesforce implementations.
• Partner with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, Solution Architects, Account Teams, client stakeholders, and Salesforce product teams.
• Establish requirements, deliverables, and manage client expectations effectively.
• Evaluate current DevOps processes, tools, and practices, suggesting areas for enhancement.
• Create, present, and execute optimal DevOps solutions.
• Spearhead the selection and implementation of DevOps tools and technologies.
• Facilitate DevOps design sessions, architect solutions, and document best practices at the Architect level.
• Oversee the setup and execution of DevOps frameworks for small to medium projects while supporting Architects on larger initiatives at the Senior Engineer level.
• Develop and uphold DevOps frameworks and governance models.
• Supervise and govern Salesforce projects.
• Ensure successful continuous delivery deployments across various environments.
• Assist in pre-sales discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
• Promote AI-first development and DevOps workflows utilizing Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and similar tools.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and contemporary DevOps ecosystems to automate workflows, document implementations, and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Travel to client locations as required, estimated at 50–75% at the Architect level.
• Minimum of 6 years of Salesforce platform experience for Senior DevOps Engineer, or a total of 10+ years in CRM with at least 8 years on the Salesforce platform for DevOps Architect.
• Emphasis on DevOps, release management, and CI/CD implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, Industries (Vlocity), and Data Cloud.
• Strong comprehension of environment management, release management, version control best practices, and deployment methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git Flow, Trunk-based development, and Feature branching.
• Proficient in Metadata API, SFDX (Salesforce DX), Salesforce CLI, Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Understanding of Sandbox management, source-driven development, Change Sets, Unlocked Packages, and Managed Packages.
• Experience with tools such as Copado, Flosum, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI.
• Proficient in Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, and Azure Repos.
• Experience in Docker image building, orchestration, pipelines, and security integration within CI/CD.
• Familiarity with test automation tools including Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, TOSCA, TestNG, Selenium, WebDriver, JUnit, JMeter, and ApexUnit.
• Experience with SonarQube, Checkmarx, and PMD.
• Understanding of Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Capability to lead small to medium projects or assist Architects in large-scale programs.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain them upon hire.
