Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Developing and overseeing cloud infrastructure on Azure.

• Designing and upholding deployment architectures along with continuous delivery pipelines.

• Crafting solutions that ensure high availability and fault tolerance for applications.

• Implementing comprehensive monitoring frameworks that include dashboards, alerts, and escalation protocols.

• Streamlining infrastructure provisioning and management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Overseeing containerized applications and managing deployments via Kubernetes.

• Applying security best practices across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and microservices.

• Enhancing system performance and scalability through proactive monitoring and observability.

• Partnering with development teams to refine deployment workflows and enhance DevOps practices.

• Consulting clients on optimal strategies for cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and system security.

• Participating in technical discussions with stakeholders and aiding project execution to meet deadlines.

• Supporting the analysis of client requirements.

• Collaborating with Technical Leaders to ensure project execution and timely delivery.

• Working closely with client teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience operating at a Senior Engineer level, typically with a minimum of 6 years in a commercial setting.

• Hands-on experience and knowledge in creating practical, real-world solutions.

• Proven track record of delivering results in an agile environment.

• Strong proficiency in managing and automating cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes (K8s).

• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally utilizing GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

• Scripting and automation skills, preferably in Python.

• Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring frameworks aimed at optimizing system performance.

• Comprehensive understanding of security best practices within cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English.
