Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS Platform, Backend Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance AWS infrastructure for both staging and production environments.

• Develop, uphold, and standardize Infrastructure-as-Code utilizing Terraform.

• Oversee and optimize containerized workloads on ECS Fargate.

• Enhance observability through metrics, dashboards, alerting, and logging.

• Refine CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Strengthen IAM, secrets management, and the overall cloud security posture.

• Conduct maintenance on databases hosted on RDS.

• Assist backend teams with debugging or minor modifications in Node.js/NestJS.

• Promote automation, reliability, and scalability throughout the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Proficient in AWS services including VPC, Route53, ECS, Lambda, and RDS.

• Strong expertise in Terraform.

• Adept in Docker and containerized deployments.

• Programming experience in Python or Golang.

• Familiarity with Node.js/NestJS.

• Background in CI/CD workflows and GitHub Actions.
