Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the operations team

• Create CI/CD pipelines to enhance existing deployment procedures

• Execute application updates

• Carry out security initiatives across various server and networking platforms

• Install, monitor, and maintain both hardware and software

• Develop scripts to automate tasks and processes

• Ensure the security, stability, and uptime of production, staging, and development environments

• Monitor these environments and respond to alerts and issues that may occur during the daily operations of their product line

• Participate in an on-call rotation for priority-1 level alarms alongside the rest of the Ops team

• Maintain network, server, and storage assets in cloud environments

• Implement ongoing upgrades and enhancements to infrastructure and processes

• Contribute to the planning of application and infrastructure releases as well as configuration changes

• Engage with internal teams and external third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues

• Document processes and developments

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps or system administration within a production environment

• Proficient in scripting with at least one language (bash/python/php/go)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform/CloudFormation)

• Experience with Kubernetes

• Familiarity with the LEMP stack

• Understanding of networking and security concepts

• Experience in deployment and debugging of complex applications

• Knowledge of cloud-based services and virtualization

• Experience working with JVM
