Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the operations team.

• Create CI/CD pipelines to enhance existing deployment procedures.

• Conduct application updates.

• Execute security initiatives across various server and networking platforms.

• Install, monitor, and maintain both hardware and software.

• Develop scripts to automate jobs and processes.

• Ensure the security, stability, and uptime of production, staging, and development environments.

• Oversee the aforementioned environments and respond to alerts and issues that may occur during the daily operation of their product line.

• Participate in an on-call rotation for priority-1 level alarms alongside the rest of the Ops team.

• Maintain network, server, and storage assets within cloud environments.

• Implement ongoing upgrades and enhancements to infrastructure and processes.

• Take part in planning application/infrastructure releases and configuration modifications.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve intricate problems.

• Document processes and developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps or system administration supporting a production environment.

• Proficient in scripting with at least one language (bash/python/php/go).

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform/CloudFormation).

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with the LEMP stack.

• Understanding of networking and security concepts.

• Skills in deploying and debugging complex applications.

• Experience with cloud-based services and virtualization.

• Familiarity with working with JVM.
