Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing cloud platform architecture on AWS.

• Creating, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure based on AWS.

• Implementing DevOps practices: DevOps Culture, CI/CD, IaC, Observability, Scalability, Automation, SRE, and FinOps.

• Optimizing costs of cloud environments.

• Establishing and expanding environments for software applications.

• Collaborating with development teams in designing and deploying solutions.

• Building and maintaining tools that automate the software development process.

• Balancing security with team convenience and flexibility.

• Preparing documentation supported by Infrastructure as Code.

• Automating processes using AI technologies.

• Engaging with the DevOps community and sharing knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, specifically in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

• Practical experience with AWS.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, along with containerization experience.

• Practical experience with observability tools.

• Ability to write automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Experience in Cloud Cost Optimization and FinOps, including monitoring, analysis, and optimization of cloud environment costs.

• Experience using Generative AI in daily tasks, process automation, software development, or architectural decision-making.

• Understanding of cloud security, reliability, and scalability.

• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written.

• Nice to have: experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

• Nice to have: programming experience.
