Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design, establish, and sustain CI/CD pipelines (such as Bitbucket Pipelines).

• Automate infrastructure utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, and OpenStack.

• Configure monitoring, alerting, and observability systems (including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

• Enhance build, test, and deployment workflows for improved speed and reliability.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure that packages are ready for production.

• Propel advancements in system performance, security, and scalability.

• Deliver a Linux distribution that targets virtualization.

• Assist in incident response and conduct post-mortem analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Linux Development, or Infrastructure Engineering.

• Strong understanding of containers and orchestration tools (such as Docker and Kubernetes).

• Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Compass).

• Good grasp of networking, Linux internals, and system security.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation purposes.

• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Go, or Rust.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.

• A proactive attitude with a sense of ownership and excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to reconsider existing infrastructure and suggest innovative improvements.

• Bonus Points: Experience with Atlassian infrastructure and services.

• Background as a Linux system administrator (preferably with RPM-based systems).

• Knowledge of GitOps practices.

• Experience in automated QA.
