Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain CI/CD pipelines (such as Bitbucket Pipelines).

• Automate infrastructure utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, and OpenStack.

• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions (including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

• Enhance build, test, and deployment procedures for optimal speed and reliability.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure that packages are ready for production.

• Propel advancements in system performance, security, and scalability.

• Deliver a fully virtualized Linux distribution tailored for targeted applications.

• Assist in incident response and post-mortem evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Linux Development, or Infrastructure Engineering.

• Strong understanding of containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (such as Compass).

• Solid grasp of networking, Linux internals, and system security.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation purposes.

• In-depth knowledge of C, C++, Go, or Rust programming languages.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.

• A proactive mindset with a sense of ownership and excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to reevaluate existing infrastructure and suggest innovative enhancements.
