Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of infrastructure and platform solutions

• Take ownership of and enhance the organization's CI/CD strategy

• Create and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes

• Develop and refine serverless architecture solutions

• Set and uphold best practices for scalability, availability, security, and performance

• Propel observability and monitoring initiatives

• Lead efforts in production support and reliability

• Guide engineers in cloud architecture and DevOps methodologies

• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering

• At least 3 years of practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Over 3 years of experience in working with Kubernetes

• Strong background in serverless architectures

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code practices

• Practical experience with Docker and container registries

• Understanding of Kubernetes autoscaling and node provisioning tools

• Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD tools

• High proficiency in Git

• Skills in scripting and automation

• Experience in building and using REST APIs

• Familiarity with GitOps workflows

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools

• Background in working with databases and distributed systems

• Familiarity with security scanning and vulnerability management tools
