Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +28 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with both offshore and onshore engineering teams to design, implement, and expand cloud-native infrastructure that supports a new customer portal and ongoing platform refactoring projects.

• Architect, develop, and maintain Kubernetes-based environments that facilitate production systems, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and secure.

• Spearhead Infrastructure as Code initiatives (mainly utilizing Terraform) to automate provisioning, configuration, and maintain environmental consistency across AWS.

• Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to boost deployment speed, reliability, and improve the developer experience.

• Incorporate and operationalize MLOps practices, enabling the efficient deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of machine learning workflows.

• Integrate DevSecOps best practices throughout the platform, embedding security controls, compliance requirements, and monitoring within the development lifecycle.

• Lead automation efforts that minimize manual processes while enhancing system reliability and repeatability.

• Work closely with Platform, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and continually enhance system architecture.

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement enhancements to optimize availability and cost-efficiency.

• Assist in incident response and root cause analysis efforts, driving long-term solutions and ensuring lessons learned lead to system improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Experience in Software Development, including scripting and programming to facilitate automation and manage DevOps workflows.

• Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and deployment pipelines.

• Proficient in System Administration, encompassing network configuration and troubleshooting.

• Significant experience with Linux systems, including performance optimization and security management.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate across teams.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
