This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and enhance cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, and EKS across various product and engineering teams.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents of diverse scope and complexity.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives from inception to completion, encompassing planning, architecture, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define infrastructure standards, CI/CD best practices, and operational protocols.
• Act as a primary resource for deployment strategies and infrastructure-related decisions.
• Actively monitor system performance and security, ensuring best practices in secret management, access controls, and observability.
• Mentor fellow engineers and independently tackle significant infrastructure challenges.
• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
• In-depth understanding of AWS networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Strong practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in at least one automation or scripting language: Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Capability to work independently and troubleshoot intricate multi-system issues.
• Ability to mentor other engineers effectively.
• Experience in rapidly growing e-commerce or ad-tech environments.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as OTel, New Relic, Prometheus, or similar.
• Experience with infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
