This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Develop and sustain infrastructure that supports service delivery across various technology stacks.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Security teams to ensure a stable and secure hosting infrastructure.
• Provide support for customer-facing production environments as well as internal tools for technical teams.
• Architect, design, and oversee the creation of scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure across production, QA, and development environments.
• Take ownership of infrastructure strategy throughout the complete software lifecycle and influence platform standards.
• Design, enhance, and manage CI/CD platforms utilizing Flux CD, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
• Establish standards for pipelines, security controls, and release strategies.
• Create reusable automation frameworks and internal platforms.
• Define strategies for monitoring, logging, telemetry, alerting, SLO, SLI, and operational runbooks.
• Lead root-cause analysis for intricate incidents and enhance system reliability.
• Drive architectural decisions, evaluate designs, and mentor DevOps engineers.
• Integrate security and compliance controls into infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collaborate with security teams on establishing guardrails, managing secrets, addressing vulnerabilities, and ensuring audit readiness.
• Oversee cloud architecture decisions related to networking, identity, scalability, and cost optimization.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related area.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting intricate Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
• Strong architectural expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Capability to work across cloud and data center environments.
• Familiarity with Flux CD, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other similar scripting languages.
• Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert, CKAD, or CKA are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
