This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design and sustain infrastructure across production, QA, and development settings.
• Engage in discussions regarding infrastructure design and execute platform-standard modifications.
• Construct and uphold CI/CD pipelines utilizing Flux CD, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
• Diagnose pipeline issues and enhance build reliability and performance.
• Develop and sustain automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or comparable languages.
• Eliminate repetitive manual tasks through tooling solutions.
• Implement and fine-tune monitoring, logging, and alert systems.
• Take part in on-call duties and incident response, performing first-line triage and aiding in root-cause analysis and runbooks.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, security, and operations teams to facilitate delivery.
• Document infrastructure, review merge requests from peers, and assist in onboarding new engineers.
• Enforce security and compliance measures, including secrets management, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage and operate resources in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including network and identity configurations.
• Recognize cost-saving opportunities and implement approved optimizations.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in DevOps, systems administration, cloud operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux environments.
• Expertise with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Practical experience in running and troubleshooting containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, Nomad, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Proficient scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or a related language.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert, CKAD, or CKA, are advantageous and may be held or in progress.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
