Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain infrastructure and automation tools by following industry best practices.

• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines to facilitate swift and dependable software delivery.

• Enhance systems for optimal availability, scalability, security, and performance.

• Collaborate with diverse teams to identify and implement infrastructure needs.

• Monitor and resolve system issues to ensure peak performance.

• Deploy and manage cloud-based services and architectures on AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation.

• Stay informed about industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Knowledge of on-premise and bare metal servers.

• Experience working with Linux servers (experience with MS Windows Server is advantageous).

• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

• Prior experience in setting up and maintaining services like Relational DBs, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

• Proficient in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.

• Strong understanding of networking principles and security concepts.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
