Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and implement geo-distributed infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of services.

• Engage in the entire project lifecycle, which includes service design and development, resource planning, and ongoing maintenance.

• Enhance system maintenance workflows by focusing on fault tolerance, scalability, postmortems, and identifying as well as resolving bottlenecks.

• Automate processes related to build, testing, and application delivery.

• Create management tools for services and infrastructure.

• Contribute to the development of a PaaS platform.

• Participate in on-call responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).

• Familiarity and practical experience with Kubernetes clusters.

• Experience working with both public and private cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Yandex.Cloud).

• Profound knowledge of Docker and Containerd containerization technologies.

• Proven experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in using Ansible or Saltstack, including writing roles, playbooks, states, and pillars.

• Strong command of Git workflows.

• Capable of independently breaking down tasks and seeing them through to completion.
