Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the infrastructure for Kyivstar's Big Data offerings.

• Take charge of the entire lifecycle of cloud and on-premises environments, including architecture, provisioning, CI/CD, observability, and incident management.

• Create and implement solutions for Big Data and AI products.

• Design and establish CI/CD pipelines specifically for Big Data solutions.

• Oversee and sustain AWS and on-premises infrastructure.

• Monitor, diagnose, and consistently enhance system observability.

• Automate deployment of software, monitoring, and routine operational activities.

• Support staging and production environments, manage release cycles, and provide assistance to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Hands-on experience with cloud service providers; AWS is preferred.

• Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines; GitLab is preferred.

• Strong practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Terraform is preferred.

• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and networking principles.

• Strong practical skills in Bash and/or Python.

• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or similar.

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Demonstrated experience working with remote/distributed teams.

• Experience with AI agents or AI-driven tools is an advantage.
