Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integration and deployment of comprehensive DevOps solutions across both private and multi-cloud settings.

• Design, sustain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI.

• Administer Kubernetes-based environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.

• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and Ansible to facilitate automated deployments.

• Construct and manage observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki, and OpenTelemetry.

• Diagnose and resolve issues spanning application, infrastructure, and network layers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to guarantee seamless operations.

• Propel GitOps automation using ArgoCD / Flux while advocating best practices among teams.

• Implement security measures, compliance, and access controls (Vault, RBAC, network policies).

• Support hybrid and API-centric infrastructures across various cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A DevOps expert with over 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and automation.

• Proficient in AWS and Azure (compute, networking, security, monitoring).

• Strong practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.

• Knowledgeable in microservices, API gateways (APIGEE, Kong, Istio), and container orchestration.

• Skilled in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and GitOps (ArgoCD, FluxCD).

• Solid understanding of networking, security, DNS, and reverse proxies.

• Experienced in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby).

• Familiar with observability concepts, SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, and on-call rotations.

• Confident in Linux administration and performance optimization.

• Knowledgeable in DevSecOps, ITIL, and principles of automation-first.
