This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more states.
• Design secure and scalable cloud infrastructures.
• Automate and oversee cloud infrastructure maintenance.
• Implement DevOps methodologies and infrastructure as code.
• Create and manage Microsoft Azure environments.
• Provide support for Kubernetes and Terraform-based infrastructures.
• Over 7 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in a production environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in writing and maintaining Terraform for live environments.
• Experience with production-scale Terraform, including module design, remote state management, and tenant/subscription state isolation.
• Proficiency in Bicep or ARM templates for deploying Azure resources.
• Administration of Azure Kubernetes Service, including cluster provisioning, node pool design, upgrades, and cluster configuration.
• Knowledge of Azure networking components such as virtual networks, private endpoints, private DNS, Azure Firewall, application gateway or WAF, public DNS, and certificate management.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, managed identity, workload identity, and designing RBAC role assignments.
• Familiarity with Azure Key Vault and secret consumption patterns for Kubernetes workloads.
• Understanding of Azure tenant and subscription structures, including management groups, Azure Policy, and subscription provisioning.
• Proficiency in Git-based infrastructure-as-code workflows, including pull request reviews and CI-driven planning and application.
• Experience with PowerShell and either Bash or Python.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure landing zone accelerator.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with cross-tenant or multi-tenant Azure delivery, Azure Lighthouse, or deployments in customer-owned subscriptions.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Azure Marketplace managed applications and private offers.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with ArgoCD and Helm.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Ansible.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Azure Policy or Kyverno.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Oracle workloads on Azure infrastructure as a service.
• Nice-to-have: AZ-305, AZ-400, or CKA certification.
