Senior Developer – Full-stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create software utilizing AI-assisted coding tools and contemporary ADLC methodologies, including SDD, while mentoring team members in embracing AI-driven development techniques.

• Set an example by nurturing a culture of high contribution through accountability, effective execution, clear communication, and productivity.

• Work closely with the Tech Lead, Product Owner, and various multidisciplinary team members to ensure timely progress and achievement of milestones.

• Design and implement new functionalities and assist in writing automated tests.

• Engage in code reviews with your colleagues.

• Maintain code quality and security while adhering to development standards.

• Oversee features in production, identify potential issues, evaluate risks, and take appropriate actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional software development experience in modern SaaS environments.

• Extensive experience in building dynamic, highly interactive frontend applications using Angular.

• Practical experience with distributed microservices and event-driven architectures utilizing Azure Service Bus or Kafka.

• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript development with Node.js and NestJS.

• Knowledge and experience in designing and working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Solid understanding of application security best practices, including authentication and authorization.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, Datadog, or New Relic.

• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure (AWS or GCP experience is also acceptable).

• Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing, mentoring, and elevating engineering standards across teams.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
