Senior Developer Consultant – Appian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead implementation teams in navigating complex technical solutions utilizing Appian and related technologies.

• Assist in design, development, and testing activities.

• Advise clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as necessary to ensure technical success.

• Verify that solutions are designed for scalability and performance.

• Develop and document best practices for implementation as well as knowledge base articles to facilitate internal training.

• Provide thought leadership focused on process enhancement.

• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.

• Mentor, train, and empower team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Appian solutions.

• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• Current Appian Senior or Lead Certification.

• Extensive experience with Appian delivery using Agile methodologies.

• Strong skills in technical design, implementation, and problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing; adept at listening actively to extract key information from internal and external stakeholders; possesses analytical and strategic foresight.

• Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and work independently as well as collaboratively (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes” mindset).

• US Citizenship is required.

• Preference will be given to candidates based in the DC Metro area.

• Must be open to traveling (0-15%) for client meetings as required.
