This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Design and build scalable, distributed data pipelines utilizing AWS services.

• Architect and oversee the creation of a comprehensive security framework for the Databricks platform.

• Define and uphold enterprise-level security standards across Databricks workspaces.

• Leverage extensive domain knowledge in molecule-level data.

• Develop and optimize large language model (LLM) applications.

• Integrate generative AI systems within enterprise data ecosystems.

• Establish solid frameworks for evaluating and monitoring LLMs.

• Collaborate across functions with engineering, data science, and product teams.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub and GitHub Actions.

• Create intelligent knowledge workflows and dashboards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 7 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in programming languages: Python, R, Scala, and Java.

• Design and implement scalable, distributed data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena, and Kinesis, with transformation logic developed in PySpark, Python, and SQL.

• Experienced in Linux/Unix environments with shell scripting (Bash) for automation and system operations.

• Familiarity with managing Databricks Unity Catalog using Terraform, including the configuration of external locations, catalogs, schemas, and access controls.

• Skilled in automating data governance and access management through Terraform modules to provision Unity Catalog resources and securely integrate with cloud storage.

• Experience in managing Databricks and implementing security frameworks.

• Knowledgeable in machine learning models and NLP techniques.

• Must be fluent in English.
