Senior Developer Advocate, Education

Posted Jul 22

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Educate a community of automation, no-code, and open-source creators, meeting them where they are with practical how-tos, assisting them in overcoming obstacles, and fostering relationships with our most engaged members.

• Take ownership of certified courses and in-depth content, transforming it into short-form formats tailored for each platform: videos, livestreams, blogs, meetups, and social media.

• Manage the entire funnel, ensuring awareness content attracts new builders while activation content helps registered users achieve true proficiency and retain that skill.

• Empower our partners to deliver by exploring co-marketing and curriculum opportunities in collaboration with the partner team.

• Uphold the accuracy standard, as incorrect instructions can significantly impact our reputation.

• Track success metrics, assess the effectiveness of initiatives in reaching objectives, and adjust efforts based on outcomes (completion rates, certification pass rates, proficiency improvements, etc.).

• Design for learning outcomes by establishing clear objectives, guiding learners from initial engagement to proficiency, and creating practice and assessments that demonstrate capability.

• Over 5 years of experience in the tech industry, with at least 2 years focused on Developer Relations or Developer Education.

• Experience in teaching and community building through various channels, including YouTube, short-form videos, courses, blogs, meetups, public speaking, and events.

• You primarily see yourself as a teacher, but also as a learner, builder, doer, mentor, and communicator.

• Possess empathy, inclusivity, warmth, enthusiasm, and derive satisfaction from helping others learn.

• Demonstrate a passion for automation, no-code, and/or open-source technologies.

• Comfortable creating real n8n workflows and identifying your own mistakes, as accuracy is crucial for this role.

• Bonus: experience in instructional design, writing assessments, or developing certification programs.
