• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure a smooth transition of components from design to implementation, leveraging your technical knowledge to discuss trade-offs.

• Enhance the contribution model to empower teams to propose, develop, and scale new components based on real product use cases.

• Create clear documentation, guidelines, and tools that assist teams in confidently adopting and utilizing the design system.

• Champion accessibility, usability, and design quality throughout the system.

• Align with our brand guidelines to ensure consistency in how we present ourselves to users at every touchpoint.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience, with a proven history of helping to set the vision and strategy for design systems, driving adoption, and measuring success.

• Strong visual design and product thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail across component states, interaction patterns, visual consistency, and accessibility compliance (WCAG AA standards).

• Strong proficiency in Figma, particularly with auto layout, nesting, constraints, responsive layouts and components, variants, properties, etc. We are looking for your assistance in exploring a transition towards Storybook + code while reducing our reliance on Figma.

• Ability to balance system scalability with actual product needs, making considered trade-offs when necessary.

• Strong communication skills and the capability to articulate design decisions effectively.

• Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment characterized by frequent changes and significant ambiguity.
