Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Supervise and propel the design process for upscale residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, guaranteeing a smooth transition from concept through to completion.

• Lead the formulation and presentation of engaging design concepts, mood boards, and material selections that resonate with the studio’s aesthetic and client expectations.

• Oversee the creation of comprehensive floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations, incorporating architectural details and interior finishes.

• Curate and specify premium materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories, ensuring a unified and sophisticated design outcome.

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants, promoting clear communication and collaboration.

• Evaluate shop drawings, supervise installations, and conduct site visits to ensure that the design intent is accurately realized.

• Collaborate closely with junior designers, project managers, and procurement specialists to sustain workflow efficiency and adhere to project timelines.

• Track project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, proactively addressing any challenges that may arise.

• Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of budgets and drawing sets, ensuring precision in specifications, technical production, and compliance with basic code requirements.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior designers, encouraging professional development and upholding studio excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in interior design, with a robust portfolio highlighting residential, commercial, and hospitality projects (preferably in luxury interior design).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D rendering software (such as Enscape).

• In-depth knowledge of luxury materials, furniture, finishes, and current industry trends.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget limitations.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to present and articulate design concepts effectively.

• Keen attention to detail, composition, and spatial planning to create elegant, well-balanced interiors.

• Ability to navigate design challenges and proactively develop solutions that align with the client’s vision and studio standards.

• Significant experience in Construction Administration (CA), including handling submittals, RFIs, and consultant coordination to ensure seamless project execution.
