Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Engage in Product Design across the entire Jeeves platform, spanning mobile and desktop, with an emphasis on essential flows.

• Take full ownership of projects from initiation to completion: defining the scope, exploring options, collaborating with engineering for shipping, and assessing outcomes.

• Enhance the quality and uniformity of the core product experience by identifying UX debt and implementing strategies to address it.

• Advocate for the product vision through design exploration, thorough documentation, and presentations to leadership.

• Leverage AI tools to rapidly test various directions without compromising on quality.

• Utilize expertise in payments and fintech to navigate real-world financial complexities, including AI-enhanced product experiences.

• Utilize and expand upon Jeeves’s established design system and standards.

• Spot gaps and inconsistencies across product interfaces and initiate systematic resolutions.

• Develop design principles and patterns specifically for AI-driven features.

• Organize and conduct research, including participant recruitment.

• Employ AI to expedite research synthesis and validate design choices with customer feedback.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and product marketers.

• Contribute to the creation and collaboration on the product vision alongside core product leadership.

• Shape design practices and operations within a distributed team environment.

• Participate in cross-functional interviews to help elevate the design standards during the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional product design experience, with a senior-level scope across multiple high-impact projects for which you were directly accountable.

• Proven experience in designing for fintech, payments, or financial services products.

• A portfolio that showcases end-to-end ownership: including problem framing, exploration stages, and shipped outcomes — rather than just final screens.

• A demonstrated ability to independently advance projects in ambiguous settings, requiring minimal direction.

• Proficient use of AI tools in your design workflow — evidenced by your current applications in exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or documentation (be prepared to present this, not just name the tools).

• Experience in working within and enhancing design systems at scale.

• Practical research experience, including participant recruitment and synthesizing findings into actionable design decisions.

• A successful history of close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering from project inception to product launch.

• Professional working proficiency in English.
