Lead Principal BIM Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical guidance, coordination, and quality assurance for Revit-based Non-Infra models on SPA projects.

• Spearhead standards, workflows, digital governance, and model maturity assurance in accordance with ISO 19650 and SPA digital delivery requirements.

• Guide BIM Engineers and promote uniform, efficient modeling across disciplines utilizing BIM applications such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

• Operate within the Programme Common Data Environments (CDE) that include Autodesk Forma, SharePoint, and the SPA GIS platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading Revit modeling for complex water/wastewater or process engineering projects.

• In-depth knowledge of Revit MEP, Revit Structures, Process Plant modeling, and multi-disciplinary interfaces.

• Expertise in model federation, clash detection, and model validation.

• Experience in progressive assurance and adherence to digital delivery compliance.

• Capability to train and mentor junior BIM Engineers.

• Experience in creating and maintaining Revit standards, templates, symbols, families, and shared parameter files.

• **Desirable**

• Professional registration or actively pursuing IEng or CEng status.

• Familiarity with Forma (Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, Reviews).
