Senior Design Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gathers proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare work for estimation.

• Determines labor, material, and time needs by reviewing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and associated documents.

• Collaborates with CAD Designers and the Sales Team to design and develop solutions.

• Analyzes labor, material, and time requirements to compute costs.

• Addresses discrepancies by gathering and analyzing relevant information.

• Assembles and displays numerical and descriptive information to present the prepared estimate.

• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends to prepare special reports.

• Enters and backs up data to maintain the cost database.

• Achieves related results as needed, contributing to team efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/BA degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in designing or estimating MHE technologies and storage solutions.

• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on large projects.

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring clarity and conciseness in interpersonal interactions.

• Proficient in computer applications such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Project.

• Ability to excel in an innovative environment and navigate through ambiguity successfully.

• Capable of performing high-level data analysis, detailed cost tracking, and reporting.

• Experience with one or more of the following major conveyor manufacturers: Intelligrated, Dematic, Automotion, Hytrol, TGW.
