Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design across the entire Jeeves platform, encompassing both mobile and desktop, with an emphasis on our primary card, payments, and spending management workflows.

• Take ownership of projects from start to finish: defining the problem, exploring solutions, collaborating with engineering for implementation, and assessing outcomes.

• Enhance the quality and uniformity of the core product experience — identify user experience debt and create a strategy to address it.

• Advocate for the product vision through design exploration, comprehensive documentation, and presentations to leadership.

• Leverage AI tools throughout your workflow — including generative exploration, AI prototyping, and LLM-assisted copy and documentation — to rapidly test more directions without compromising quality.

• Utilize your expertise in payments and fintech to design for real-world financial complexities, including AI-enabled product experiences within Jeeves (such as intelligent expense review, automation, and insights).

• Utilize and enhance Jeeves’s current design system and standards.

• Identify discrepancies and inconsistencies across product surfaces — employing AI tools for large-scale audits — and implement systematic solutions.

• Establish design principles and patterns that can be utilized by other designers and engineers, including patterns for AI-driven features (such as confidence, explainability, and human review).

• Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and product marketers.

• Develop and collaborate on the product vision with core product leadership, providing direct reports to it.

• Impact design practices and team operations within a globally distributed team — including guiding how the design team integrates AI into its workflows.

• Engage in cross-functional interviews and contribute to elevating the design standards in hiring.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, with a senior-level scope on multiple high-impact projects for which you were directly accountable.

• Experience in designing products for fintech, payments, or financial services.

• A portfolio that showcases end-to-end ownership: defining the problem, exploring solutions, and achieving shipped outcomes — not just final screens.

• Proven ability to advance projects independently in ambiguous settings, without requiring extensive direction.

• Proficient use of AI tools in your design process — demonstrated by actual applications for exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or documentation (be prepared to showcase this, not merely list tools).

• Experience in working within and enhancing design systems at scale.

• Practical research experience, including recruiting participants and synthesizing findings into design decisions.

• A history of close collaboration with PM and Engineering teams through to product launch.
