Lead Curriculum Designer, Math and English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop original content.

• Create top-notch maths and English resources for booklets, assessments, and learning materials from the ground up.

• Establish the style and structure.

• Define the format and framework of resources, influencing their presentation beyond merely writing questions.

• Explain concepts like a tutor.

• Craft clear, student-friendly explanations, examples, and step-by-step solutions that aid students in grasping the reasoning behind the answers, not just the answers themselves.

• Collaborate with the onshore team.

• Ensure content aligns with the learning objectives and curriculum standards set by the Australia-based academic team.

• Maintain high standards.

• Guarantee accuracy, clarity, and consistency across resources, while establishing the frameworks for the rest of the team to adhere to.

• Scale effectively.

• Develop content processes and enhance question types, structure, and delivery to maintain quality as volume increases.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in English, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Proficient understanding of maths and English content, capable of simplifying complex concepts.

• A designer's perspective on structure: you prioritize how a resource is organized and presented, not just its correctness.

• Exceptional written communication skills and keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously, manage projects from inception to completion, and set a standard for others to follow.

• Comfort with cross-timezone collaboration, with availability during Australian time zones.

• Experience in academic content development, such as booklets, assessments, or worked solutions (preferred).

• Experience in defining content style, frameworks, or curriculum structure (preferred).

• Familiarity with international curricula like VCE or experience in edtech environments (preferred).
