Senior Design Manager – Sports & Entertainment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and expert consultants on impactful projects.

• Supervise the convergence of intricate architecture with the energy of live audiences.

• Guide the execution of sports and entertainment initiatives from initial concept to final completion.

• Serve as the primary point of coordination between clients and diverse teams.

• Develop project strategies while ensuring momentum, quality, and alignment with client goals.

• Manage client relationships and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

• Foster communication, mentor junior team members, and maintain design excellence and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of project and design management experience within an architecture firm.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture.

• Significant experience across all phases of architectural projects, preferably related to sports stadiums, training facilities, and entertainment venues.

• Capacity to deliver outstanding client service while ensuring project profitability.

• A strong desire to lead teams and mentor junior staff members.

• Advanced architectural competence and expertise in mixed-use developments.

• Comprehensive understanding of state and local building codes, including accessibility standards.

• Experience in sustainable design, with a preference for active participation in LEED projects and accreditation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating complex design ideas into engaging narratives for client presentations, consultant coordination, and internal team alignment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Project), AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
