Senior Design Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in product design, including at least 5 years in a design management or leadership capacity.

• Established experience in managing senior designers, staff designers, or design leads, rather than only junior or mid-level individual contributors.

• A proven history of advancing designers to the next level in their careers.

• Demonstrated accountability for design work that has resulted in significant, measurable business outcomes such as conversion, engagement, revenue, or retention at scale.

• Strong foundational skills in craft. Capable of participating in critiques, reviewing Figma files, and providing precise, constructive feedback derived from extensive experience in building and launching products.

• Experience working alongside senior product, engineering, and commercial leaders, maintaining your position, shaping strategy, and influencing decisions beyond the design department.

• Proficiency with contemporary design tools (Figma, prototyping tools) and a nuanced understanding of how AI is transforming product development workflows.

• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and trade-offs in straightforward language to executives, PMs, engineers, and commercial stakeholders, while confidently navigating high-stakes discussions.

• Experience in remote-first environments with strong asynchronous communication skills.
