This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.
• Create user-centric interfaces using TypeScript and React, along with backend services and APIs developed in Python or Node.
• Execute agentic behavior, which includes orchestration, function and tool invocation, memory management, and guardrails.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines that encompass ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and vector as well as hybrid search.
• Design and construct agents utilizing Gemini models, Vertex AI, the Agent Development Kit, and the Agent Engine.
• Set up and configure Gemini Enterprise, incorporating Agent Designer, Inbox, and agent sandboxes.
• Integrate Gemini Enterprise with client application ecosystems using first-party and partner connectors, ensuring permissions, governance, and audit capabilities.
• Create grounded, retrieval-backed applications leveraging Vertex AI Search, RAG Engine, Google Search grounding, and BigQuery.
• Facilitate agent interoperability through A2A and MCP.
• Develop evaluation suites and regression tests for LLM-powered features; oversee cost, latency, and quality metrics in a production environment.
• Deploy on GCP, Azure, or AWS while maintaining data pipelines that support AI systems.
• Regularly utilize Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor with verification and review processes.
• Provide updates on progress, trade-offs, and obstacles to clients and project leads.
• Assist with pre-sales activities as necessary.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to the development of internal accelerators, reusable components, and engineering standards.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Significant hands-on experience with AI tools and LLM-based development within the past year.
• Strong practical knowledge of Gemini models, Vertex AI, and preferably Gemini Enterprise or ADK.
• At least one solution successfully deployed in a production environment on GCP.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience in building and utilizing APIs.
• Front-end development experience using React or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with at least one backend framework.
• Practical experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector search implementations.
• Knowledge of at least one agentic framework such as Google ADK, LangGraph, or LangChain.
• Strong experience working with GCP; familiarity with Azure or AWS is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor.
• Experience in constructing and managing data pipelines.
• Professional English proficiency at a minimum of C1 or C2 level.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Google Cloud certification must be obtained within the first two months if not already possessed.
• Current resume required.
• GitHub link or portfolio demonstrating AI systems or full-stack projects that have been built and launched in production.
• A 1–2 minute Loom video introducing yourself and discussing a production AI system, evaluation, and reliability.
• Submission of portfolio and Loom video is necessary to advance to the next stage of the hiring process.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
