Senior Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Directs and coordinates the initiatives of subordinate leaders and professional staff.

• Manages the complete delivery process of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within the defined scope, and within budget.

• Guides and oversees delivery teams, offering support and direction to foster effective collaboration and optimal performance.

• Ensures the appropriate allocation of resources to projects while managing schedules and workloads efficiently.

• Acts as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, providing regular updates, and managing expectations effectively.

• Facilitates communication between internal teams and clients to ensure project goals and timelines are aligned, while also addressing and managing emerging issues and challenges.

• Monitors project budgets to guarantee that financial objectives are met and resources are used efficiently.

• Reports on project financials, detailing costs, budget variances, and profitability metrics.

• Identifies and resolves issues or obstacles during the delivery process, managing escalations and ensuring the appropriate engagement of teams and support.

• Oversees the performance of any third-party vendors and subcontractors to ensure the successful implementation of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree along with 10-12 years of relevant experience, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• 5-6 years of leadership experience.

• Excellent communication and written skills.

• Proven experience in managing project budgets ranging from $2M to $5M, involving 15 or more team members.

• In-depth expertise in Agile Methodologies, Software Development, and Application Life Cycle Management.

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to servicing of a DoD account.

• Ability to obtain a government security clearance is required.

• Preference for candidates residing in the eastern or central time zone.
