Senior Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create detailed project plans for life and annuity initiatives, encompassing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, objectives, and deliverables.

• Sustain project work breakdown structures, product backlogs, sprint backlogs, project and program charters, scopes, schedules, and resource needs.

• Utilize expertise in life insurance and annuity products to inform project requirements, design, and execution.

• Coordinate cross-functional team members and subject matter experts.

• Act as the main point of contact for internal teams, clients, and vendors; provide project updates and resolve issues.

• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and company policies.

• Recognize and alleviate project risks.

• Monitor and control project budgets.

• Supervise the quality of project deliverables.

• Maintain project plans, reports, and change requests.

• Inspire and lead project teams; deliver thought leadership and business insights.

• Address project-related issues and challenges.

• Spearhead AI initiatives, pinpoint AI automation and analytics opportunities, collaborate with data science and engineering teams, and integrate AI solutions into platforms and workflows such as LifePRO, LDS, portals, and operations systems.

• Facilitate digital transformation, enhance efficiency, and deliver measurable business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• 5–10 years of experience in managing technology projects.

• Proven track record as a Delivery Manager with a focus on life insurance and annuity product implementation and TPA operations.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects within the insurance sector.

• Strong skills in project management, leadership, and communication.

• Proficiency with project management software and tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of life insurance and annuity products, industry regulations, and best practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team and across various departments.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Agile/Scrum certification and/or PMI certification preferred.
