Senior Deal Desk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• CPQ Quoting: Manage daily configuration, pricing, and quoting through Salesforce CPQ for both routine and intricate deals — ensuring accuracy, applying standard discounting, and escalating any non-standard terms for necessary approvals.

• Process Improvement: Detect and assist in rectifying inefficiencies within the quote-to-cash workflow; support automation initiatives and template enhancements; ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).

• Reporting & Analytics: Create and uphold dashboards that monitor quote turnaround times, approval rates, and discount trends; provide weekly insights to Sales leadership.

• Sales Enablement: Act as a key resource for representatives regarding quoting best practices and deal structuring; address quote-to-order issues and engage in deal reviews.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with Sales, Finance, and Legal on process modifications; assist in training new employees on self-service CPQ tools.

• Risk Management: Identify pricing discrepancies or compliance risks and aid in their resolution to safeguard margins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Deal Desk, preferably with direct CPQ experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce CRM, and Google Sheets.

• Strong analytical abilities and skills in process mapping.

• Exceptional attention to detail alongside proactive and clear communication.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with SaaS pricing models (subscription, usage-based) or international deals.

• Nice to have: Experience with Tableau or Power BI.

• Nice to have: Salesforce CPQ Associate certification or training in RevOps fundamentals.
