This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Request and monitor preauthorizations for insurance-eligible orders in accordance with payer guidelines
• Input authorization information into the order processing system and attach relevant documentation to the appropriate order and patient record
• Update order status to proceed with processing upon approval or cancel appropriately if authorization is denied or not secured
• Confirm active insurance status during the final API check prior to order advancement
• Handle incoming faxes related to authorization documents and ensure proper system integration
• Reach out to customers when insurance coverage is approaching expiration, when relevant
• Achieve or surpass daily production goals while ensuring high accuracy in documentation
• Reduce downstream rework by ensuring precise data entry and comprehensive documentation
• Report payer-related discrepancies, missing documents, or API mismatches to the appropriate team lead
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workflow continuity and enhance processes
• Assist with additional operational workflows when queue stability permits, completing cross-training and supporting other teams as necessary

• 2 years of experience in insurance authorizations, insurance verification, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or high-volume data processing roles
• Proficient in requesting and tracking insurance preauthorizations across various payer portals and communication channels
• Strong understanding of documentation requirements for payer submissions
• Demonstrated ability to meet production-based performance expectations and daily output targets
• Highly adept at data entry with minimal documentation errors
• Experience working within structured order management or case management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
