Senior Data Scientist – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement production-ready machine learning solutions, emphasizing classical ML and statistical methods.

• Take full ownership of models, managing everything from data pipelines and modeling to deployment and monitoring.

• Enhance the scalability and reliability of current ML data pipelines.

• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to transform business challenges into actionable solutions.

• Act as the Data Science specialist within a compact Data Products team.

• Identify opportunities where ML and GenAI can address product and business challenges and select the appropriate methods.

• Coordinate with platform and LLM Ops teams when additional infrastructure support is required.

• Contribute to shaping the ML and AI roadmap while pinpointing high-impact opportunities across products.

• Create ML solutions for Magicline and PerfectGym Next, utilized by fitness organizations and their members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in building and deploying machine learning solutions in a production setting.

• Solid understanding of statistics and classical machine learning techniques.

• Proven experience managing ML projects from start to finish, encompassing data preparation, modeling, deployment, and monitoring.

• Proficient in Python, particularly with libraries like scikit-learn or similar frameworks.

• Competent in SQL.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level or higher.

• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, or dbt.

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) or GenAI-based solutions.

• German language skills are considered a plus.

• Self-motivated and comfortable addressing problems that are not fully defined.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
