Senior Data Scientist – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute the organization’s data science strategy

• Foster innovation centered on Generative AI and Agentic workflows

• Discover opportunities to utilize data for business value and impact

• Oversee the complete technical stack for development and deployment

• Create, build, and sustain scalable machine learning models and efficient data pipelines

• Ensure strong data management and engineering practices

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and deliver insights

• Articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience

• Practical experience with Generative AI and Agentic Workflows

• Demonstrated experience in participating in complex projects

• Proficiency in modern language models and machine learning frameworks

• Familiarity with contemporary LLM-supporting frameworks and tools

• Competence in modern LLM prompting techniques and methodologies

• Experience in managing feedback training pipelines and fine-tuning

• Strong expertise in Python, R, or another strongly typed programming language

• Solid understanding of AWS, GCP, or Azure along with deployment processes

• Acquainted with Spark, Hadoop, commercial data warehouses, or data lake technologies

• Background in data architecture and database management

• Experience with data management and engineering tools
