This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Designs and develops scalable solutions leveraging AI tools and machine learning models.
• Conducts research and testing to create machine learning algorithms and predictive models.
• Employs big data computation and storage tools to develop prototypes and datasets.
• Executes model training and evaluation processes.
• Integrates, tests, fine-tunes, and monitors solutions.
• Engages in model brainstorming discussions with prospective internal clients interested in AI/ML capabilities.
• Collaborates with internal clients requesting AI/ML capabilities to comprehend overall business objectives and impacts.
• Analyzes use cases for ML algorithms and applies insights to facilitate business decisions.
• Writes moderately complex SQL and Python/R code to extract data from diverse databases and data sources.
• Explores and visualizes data to understand and validate data quality.
• Conducts exploratory data analysis from complex data sets and builds essential data sets to support operational analysis.
• Constructs ML/AI models using prevalent methods in R and Python.
• Evaluates ML algorithms that could address a problem and ranks them based on success probability.
• Investigates model errors and devises strategies to mitigate them.
• Develops logging, alerting, and mitigation strategies for managing model errors.
• Creates AI/ML models to identify relevant content or events and recognize patterns.
• Designs and builds AI/ML models aimed at predicting member outcomes.
• Assesses and designs experiments to monitor key model metrics and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Participates in presentations and conveys research analysis findings to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Produces fairness reviews for each model to ensure they are free of bias.
• Establishes CI/CD pipelines for model automation.
• Manages model deployment using containers like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Generates clean and readable code that has been thoroughly unit tested and optimized.
• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
• A minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience is required.
• 4+ years of intermediate knowledge and experience with SQL is essential.
• 4+ years of experience in developing Machine Learning/AI/Predictive models using R or Python is mandatory.
• 4+ years of intermediate knowledge of Git is required.
• Experience with the Databricks Platform is preferred.
