Senior Data Scientist – Generative AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create solutions and agents utilizing large language models (LLMs) for incorporation into the company's products, processes, and services;

• Conduct fine-tuning and customization of pre-existing models;

• Design and establish data pipelines for model training and evaluation, which include preprocessing, tokenization, and dataset curation;

• Integrate generative AI models with corporate systems, APIs, and business workflows;

• Investigate and implement RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), embeddings, and hybrid architectures;

• Monitor and assess model performance using relevant metrics;

• Suggest ongoing enhancements to the systems;

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines;

• Postgraduate degree, MBA, or Master's in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Cognitive Computing (preferred);

• Understanding of language models, including their limitations and strengths;

• Strong proficiency in Python;

• Familiarity with the AI model lifecycle: development, deployment, and monitoring;

• Experience with version control systems;

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences;
