Data Manager, FME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Design and execute automated data workflows to integrate data and processes into the contracting authority’s systems and databases, including historical data migration and new ETL flows;

• Monitor and enhance the performance of both existing and new ETL workflows;

• Ensure that data quality is clearly defined, documented, analyzed, and monitored;

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as disease surveillance experts and fellow data managers, to support data analysis, modeling, and visualization.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in data management/analysis, or a non-university degree with at least five years of experience in data management/analysis;

• At least three years of recent experience managing large, complex data sets and working with data warehouses and data marts utilizing FME;

• A certification or training in FME and TransactSQL is mandatory;

• Experience in data management/analysis within the fields of infectious diseases, epidemiology, or public health will be considered advantageous;

• Proficiency in TransactSQL and Python or R will be viewed as a plus;

• Exceptional command of the English language.
