This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, validate, oversee, and improve statistical, predictive, and Machine Learning models.

• Investigate, analyze, and interpret extensive amounts of structured and unstructured data.

• Convert data into actionable insights to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Create analytical studies and models that concentrate on customer behavior, trends, and business opportunities.

• Design and implement scalable analytical solutions with a focus on quality, efficiency, and reliability.

• Perform exploratory analyses, hypothesis testing, and impact assessments.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization through Data Science, Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence.

• Integrate data from various internal and external sources while ensuring consistency and quality.

• Collaborate with Business, Data Engineering, and Technology teams.

• Monitor production models and suggest ongoing improvements.

• Research and implement new methodologies, algorithms, and technologies in AI, Machine Learning, and Analytics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Significant experience in applying Data Science to address business challenges.

• Advanced understanding of the complete analytical and Machine Learning model development lifecycle, from data exploration to deployment, production monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.

• High proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Familiarity with tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or similar.

• Experience managing large sets of structured and unstructured data.

• Knowledge of AWS ecosystem services in relation to Data and Machine Learning.

• Strong grasp of Statistics, Probability, hypothesis testing, statistical modeling, and model assessment.

• Proven experience in developing, validating, monitoring, and refining predictive models and Machine Learning algorithms.

• Ability to define and track KPIs and metrics for statistical models.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Experience working within Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Preferred: MLOps, deployment and monitoring tools, Deep Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras), LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, AWS or Machine Learning certifications, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
