This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, validate, monitor, and enhance statistical, predictive, and Machine Learning models to support strategic business objectives.
• Explore, analyze, and interpret extensive amounts of structured and unstructured data, transforming them into actionable insights for informed decision-making.
• Conduct analytical studies and create models to understand customer behavior, detect patterns, and uncover business opportunities.
• Design and implement scalable analytical solutions, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and reliability of results.
• Execute exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and impact assessments to aid strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization utilizing Data Science, Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence techniques.
• Work with data from various internal and external sources, ensuring integration, consistency, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Business, Data Engineering, and Technology teams to comprehend requirements and translate challenges into analytical solutions.
• Monitor model performance in production and suggest continuous improvements to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Research, evaluate, and apply new methodologies, algorithms, and technologies related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Analytics to foster innovation and enhance data solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Data Science applied to resolving business challenges.
• Strong understanding of the complete analytics and Machine Learning model development lifecycle, from data exploration to deployment, monitoring, and production evolution.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and processing.
• Experience with Data Science and Machine Learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or similar.
• Proven experience in handling, processing, and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with AWS data and Machine Learning ecosystem services.
• Solid understanding of Statistics, Probability, hypothesis testing, statistical modeling, and model evaluation.
• Experience in developing, validating, monitoring, and evolving predictive models and Machine Learning algorithms.
• Knowledge of defining and tracking model performance metrics (KPIs and statistical metrics).
• Proficiency in Git for code versioning.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Nice-to-haves: Experience with MLOps and model deployment/monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras).
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• AWS or Machine Learning certifications.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Remote position – Monday to Friday (09:00 to 18:00).
