This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Collaborate with partner ML and Annotation engineers as well as TPMs to define data and training specifications.
β’ Ensure datasets are properly curated, filtered, and processed to align with the stringent standards of production-level machine learning.
β’ Serve as a technical translator, converting high-level project objectives into actionable data specifications for engineering and annotation teams.
β’ Uphold rigorous standards for data integrity, guaranteeing that the media datasets utilized for training are both representative and accurate.
β’ Master's Degree or certification in Data Science or a related field in computational sciences.
β’ Over 3 years of relevant industry experience in a dynamic, high-growth technology environment.
β’ Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist in a fast-paced setting.
β’ Previous experience in industries with intricate multi-disciplinary teams, including robotics, smart grids, precision agriculture, game development, or aerospace.
β’ Proficiency in Python, Git, and the Unix shell.
β’ Acquaintance with collaborative tools such as Jira/Confluence, Slack, a Git server, and an experiment tracking framework.
β’ Familiarity with data visualization and inspection tools specifically tailored for computer vision and 3D data, such as FiftyOne.
β’ Profound understanding of data science fundamentals complemented by a solid mathematical background.
β’ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
β’ Capacity to collaborate effectively across various engineering disciplines to define and implement technical requirements.
