Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, and develop machine learning models for various applications.

• Engage in the entire deployment process: utilizing managed cloud ML platforms and creating containerized solutions in Python.

• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models in production settings while adhering to MLOps best practices.

• Prepare and analyze substantial datasets; critically assess data quality and its implications for model reliability.

• Participate in technical discussions within the team, promoting a culture of shared knowledge and ongoing improvement.

• Clearly communicate intricate ML concepts to both technical team members and non-technical client stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical machine learning experience with a proven history of deploying models in production.

• Expertise in at least one domain — predictive/classical ML, computer vision, or LLM/agentic systems.

• Proficient in Python and SQL, with a strong instinct for production code, and familiarity with Git; knowledge of R or C++ is advantageous.

• Comfortable with the entire deployment stack: managed cloud services and containerized solutions developed from the ground up (Docker, EC2-style environments).

• Comprehensive understanding of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent depth evidenced through completed projects.

• Excellent communicator capable of articulating their methodology and justifying their decisions.

• Must reside in the US or Canada.
