Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design and execute machine learning models (classification, regression, and segmentation) utilizing various Python libraries;

• Assess machine learning models employing a range of metrics and techniques such as confusion matrices, backtesting, out-of-time testing, train/test splits, cohorts, ROC-AUC, and KS;

• Manage data from multiple sources, integrating it into structured formats suitable for analysis. The data may not always reside in the same environment or be in the optimal format for model application;

• Generate activity status reports and comprehensive data process documentation to support strategic solutions;

• Craft narratives and create presentations to effectively communicate modeling and analysis findings;

• Contribute to process enhancements by leveraging data to deliver quantifiable financial benefits to the organization;

• Work closely with teams in Data Infrastructure, Data Engineering and Systems, and Process Engineering to seamlessly integrate analytical solutions into existing internal tools and workflows;

• Oversee and suggest improvements in the area, focusing on process enhancements related to activities, projects, and initiatives to adopt industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, etc.) or related fields;

• At least 5 years of experience in Data Science projects (Behavior Score, Collections, Churn, Price Prediction, etc.) with a proven business impact;

• Essential skills: Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Pandas, Scikit-learn;

• Preferred qualifications: experience with Databricks, MLOps, and a postgraduate degree in a STEM discipline;

• Additional advantage: experience with Time Series projects;

• Proficiency in English - Advanced level;
