This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.
• Develop, validate, and implement machine learning models aimed at real-time fraud detection and prevention.
• Enhance model reproducibility and reliability through comprehensive documentation, rigorous testing, and continuous monitoring.
• Maintain data integrity and dependability throughout data pipelines and associated tools.
• Partner with the Risk Strategy team to refine model inputs and applications.
• Work alongside Engineering to improve deployment processes and system observability.
• Assist Mercury’s Risk team in identifying, tracking, and reducing risks associated with first- and third-party fraud as well as financial crime.
• Over 5 years of experience in working with and analyzing extensive datasets to address challenges and create impact, including a minimum of 3 years in machine learning.
• Strong command of SQL with experience in managing and interpreting imperfect data sets.
• Proficiency in Python coupled with a background in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Experience in deploying and monitoring machine learning models in a production environment.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic setting with shifting priorities.
