Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, train, and validate comprehensive Machine Learning models.

• Analyze extensive datasets to derive actionable insights.

• Collaborate with Engineering to construct scalable data pipelines.

• Establish metrics, conduct experiments, and run A/B tests in conjunction with Product teams.

• Convert business challenges into statistical and modeling frameworks.

• Clearly communicate outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Act as a technical resource and mentor to fellow data professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Data Scientist, encompassing end-to-end modeling.

• Solid understanding of statistics along with supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning.

• Expertise in Python (including libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn) and advanced SQL.

• Familiarity with data pipelines, version control for code, and MLOps best practices.

• Background in a digital product or data-centric business setting.

• Proficiency in English for technical reading and communication with documentation and team members.

• Willingness to work as an independent contractor (PJ arrangement), fully remotely.

• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and orchestration tools.

• Preferred: Prior experience with experimentation (A/B testing) and product metrics.

• Preferred: Knowledge of deep learning or Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Preferred: Active involvement in communities, publications, or open-source initiatives.
