This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend sponsor data requirements and translate these into essential analytics.
• Proactively define algorithms, models, analyses, and outputs necessary to fulfill sponsor objectives.
• Prepare business requirement documents and detailed specifications.
• Anticipate reporting and analytical needs to assist sponsors effectively.
• Possess knowledge of CDISC standards and clinical trial submission protocols, capable of independently producing data transfers and trial documentation adhering to these standards.
• Demonstrate confidence in presenting results and interpretations to sponsors without assistance.
• Ability to convey intricate data concepts in an easily digestible manner.
• Proficient in summarizing data in concise, impactful presentations and executive summaries.
• Skillfully manage multiple data analytics projects and deliverables simultaneously.
• Design, develop, and implement data analytics, data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Oversee the maintenance of reporting systems and dashboards.
• Assist in the creation of data visualization tools.
• Draft and execute Statistical Analysis Plans.
• Monitor study data effectively.
• Engage in data transformation, transposition, cleaning, curation, and reprocessing to support data transfers and delivery to sponsors.
• Apply CDISC data standards, including SDTM and ADaM datasets.
• Collaborate with sponsors to address scientific inquiries and partake in study planning.
• Author clinical study reports, analytic reports, and various scientific documents.
• Contribute to data curation and aggregation; provide requirements and documentation for data structure and needs to facilitate data analytics.
• Analyze and report on cognitive outcome measures and cognitive assessments.
• Develop and conduct quality control on statistical and programming outputs while adhering to strict quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams in project management, statistics, data management, statistical programming, and site services to support scientific analysis and reporting and address data-related inquiries.
• Create solutions for unique customer requests regarding topics such as stratification, inclusion, reliable change monitoring, data monitoring, normative data, and other cognitive testing applications.
• Generate clinical study report summary tables, data listings, figures, and additional outputs as detailed in the statistical analysis plan or other scientific reporting specifications.
• Evaluate and monitor cognitive data rater performance, findings from data monitoring, custom programming/statistical analysis, normative data, z-scores, and computations.
• Analyze and interpret cognitive data from clinical trials and research studies critically.
• Assess internal processes and scientific methodologies critically.
• Contribute to the enhancement of processes, technology, and infrastructure that support scientific services and related operations.
• When functioning as a QC programmer, work independently from source data to ensure a 100% match of all outputs.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Cogstate's data systems.
• Provide requirements for the development and commercialization of new technologies.
• Degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, psychology, neuroscience, statistics, or a related field. A MA/MS may be acceptable with additional experience and demonstrated proficiency.
• PhD strongly preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in an industry or academic environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and scientific writing and presentation.
• Exceptional expertise in R for data analytics and advanced statistics.
• Extensive experience with Python/Pyspark.
• Expertise in predictive and machine learning modeling.
