Senior Data Scientist – Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Act as a key resource for developing AI agents and RAG databases to address challenges. Create tools for AI agents that automate the retrieval, wrangling, and analysis of data.

• Leverage a combination of knowledge in data structures, analytics, algorithms/models, and solid computer science fundamentals to prepare datasets, perform analytics, and create deployable solutions with support from more experienced team members.

• Capable of analyzing and preparing complex and novel data sources, integrating them into analytical solutions.

• Work collaboratively with customers and key stakeholders to generate ideas, conduct design, analysis, and enhance processes.

• Design and implement AI and ML solutions using Google Cloud Platform.

• Utilize extensive data sources to generate business insights and features for groundbreaking solutions.

• Possess an understanding of various data sources, both structured and unstructured.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years in a role as a GenAI Data Scientist.

• Proficiency in Python, particularly from a functional programming perspective, with the ability to manage dependencies and virtual environments, alongside experience in version control using git.

• Foundational knowledge of machine learning and deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), cloud computing, multi-agent systems, data analysis, programming skills, and an understanding of ethical implications in AI development.

• Familiarity with agent frameworks, preferably Langchain.

• Experience in prompt engineering for chatbots, virtual assistants, image generation, etc.

• Knowledge of proprietary and/or open-source LLMs.

• Prior experience in prompt engineering.

• Background in RAG and Vector Databases.
